Shattered Glass Project

Sitting firmly at the intersection of equity and theatre is Shattered Glass Project (SGP). Centering the stories of women, non-binary, and transgender theatre makers, SGP has been on the forefront of new works development by artists marginalized by their gender identities. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Rebecca O’Neil, SGP’s comprehensive programming allows expression through theatre in every step of production - script development, plays-in-progress development, and main stage productions featured at black box theatres throughout Seattle. SGP is driven and determined to match playwrights and directors via their incubator/mentorship program, empowering artists to move into professional playwright or director roles. Supporting and uplifting the voices that those in power seek to silence, SGP is defined by their passion for creating a supportive cohort for theatre artists at any stage of their career. The works and artists supported by this program actively combat the intersection of oppression faced by our communities at a critical time in our history. Franklin Pierce Northwest is proud to support the work being done by Shattered Glass Project.
